Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using SoleSeal (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What SoleSeal is
SoleSeal provides AI-assisted analysis of sneaker photographs to estimate authenticity and market value, and to issue a digital Seal of Authenticity. It is an informational tool.
Not a guarantee of authenticity
Verdicts, confidence scores, valuations, and Seals are automated estimates provided for informational purposes only. They are not a certification, appraisal, or guarantee of authenticity or value.
Authentication is inherently uncertain: high-quality replicas may pass and genuine pairs may be flagged. Do not rely on SoleSeal as the sole basis for any purchase, sale, or other decision. You are solely responsible for your decisions.
Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Credits and payments
Authentications are paid for with credits purchased through our payment processor. Prices are shown in the app and may change. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
Except where required by law, purchases are final. If an analysis fails on our side, the credit for that scan is refunded automatically.
Your content
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. You grant SoleSeal a limited license to store and process them to provide the Service, including sending them to our AI provider to generate your analysis. You represent that you have the right to upload the content you submit.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, scrape it with automated tools, or resell access without our permission.
Intellectual property
The SoleSeal app, brand, and Seal design are owned by SoleSeal. These Terms grant you no rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant the accuracy of any verdict, score, or valuation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoleSeal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months or US $100.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
